  • When did you first decide to study and pursue a career in STEM?
The first time I had an interest in STEM was when I was interested in math subjects at school, then when I continued to college, I decided to apply to majors related to STEM, at that time, there were 3 majors chosen in the STEM field.

  • What drives you to study and pursue a career in STEM?
What encouraged me to pursue a career in STEM, when I was in college there was a lecturer who encouraged and motivated women to pursue a career in technology. It was interesting to me then I decided to pursue the field for the first time in college, previously when I entered the initial college, I did not understand programming, what is coding. It turned out that after further study, I found it quite exciting, because I could learn how to create applications, programs, which are very much needed today where at this time technology continues to develop and is used by humans in their daily lives.
While in college I also received motivation and encouragement from a lecturer named Mr. Satria Agung Wicaksono, he shared his experience that he had a female friend who was better in the STEM field and it was linear with his field and he said that his female friend was better than him. This encouraged me to pursue a career in STEM.

  • What tips can you give to women who are pursuing and working in STEM fields?
Tips from me, can motivate each other and believe that women can also have a career in STEM no less than men. Do not be half-hearted to study or have a career and do not be satisfied with what we have but we must know and be sensitive to how the outside world conditions because the outside world of the STEM field is developing very very rapidly.
